Freshie and I messaged back and forth for the better part of a year before we finally got this shoot on the books. Lucky for me we did! I was impressed by the near instant rapport we developed. Freshie knew what I wanted for the shoot by easily identifying the theme from the mood board I shared. By the end of our shoot, she had opened by eyes to the potential for so many new areas of model photography. I hope to work with Freshie again as I continue to explore this art!
I worked with Ivy at Frog Hollow in March 2019. Our focus was low light bodyscapes. I had a little success at a previous workshop and wanted see if I had the tools and knowhow to replicate that success. Turns out, I still have a lot to learn! That said, we got a few decent shots. We also had a blast playing with reflections in the loft.
Ivy seems to have gone dark on social media, but her MM number is 1255317. Let’s hope she resurfaces soon!
Karolina G (Poland)
I shot Karolina at Frog Hollow in March 2019. Our collaboration was my first with traveling model not based in the Northeast. It was great! She was incredibly talented and patient as I experimented with lighting and lenses.
Karolina was the first model to cycle through sensual poses during a shoot. Prior to our session, I focused primarily on form/figure or capturing intimate moments. Based on our shoot, I could see shooting a sensual series in the future. BTW - a few of those shots are included at the end.
Karolina travels internationally. If you’re lucky, her world tour will stop by your town. Links to her insta and MM are below. Book her if you can!
It was a pleasure working with Ev at Frog Hollow. These shots were captured February 2019. The snow was much colder than it looked. Ev was fearless!
Since this was our second time working together, I feel like we were totally in sync. The big lesson from this day was to not trust default ISO settings. Hopefully the edits to the indoor shots make up for photographer error.
You should definitely work with Ev if you can! Her contact info is below.
Ash Roberts (@attrvcion)
Ash and I worked together in February 2019. I had a last minute cancellation and Ash agreed to shoot last minute. So thankful she was available!
Unfortunately, I didn’t check ISO settings, so most of our shots were too grainy to salvage. If I’m lucky, Ash will grant me a do over!
Ash’s contact info is below. Book her if you can!
Working with Kace Face was a great experience! We shot in January 2019 at the Vox Populi building. This was a new experience as I had only shot in studios or outdoors beforehand. I loved every minute of our shoot and learned a lot about our art.
The best part of working with Kacey was getting to know them (Kacey, if you’re reading this, sorry I don’t remember your pronoun). Kacey was real and present throughout our shoot. I look forward to our next collaboration!
